we came back last week from Greece, where we ran the last workshop of the season. Fantastic, we all loved every aspect of it. The area we were at (Ionian sea) reminds me of Italy 40 years ago…beautiful colours, simple life on the beach, watching the blue sea….friendly people…
We will definetely go back!
HERE AN ANTICIPATION:
We will start with out traditional workshop in Venice, run by Giacomo Brunelli. The right moment to visit Venice, when the carnival is over and the city is not full of tourists…the real Venice.
Our classic workshop with Anders Petersen will take us this time to Florence: we never ran any workshop there! It will be, as usual, a week of discovery and surprises…The workshop is limited to ony 10 students: if you are interested, hurry up! It’s one of our most popular classes and it tends to fill up very quickly!
We had planned a workshop with Martin Bogren for this October in Sicily but then we decided to move it to next year. Soon we will let you know when it has been rescheduled for.
Same with Gabrielle Duplantier, she joined TPW last Summer for a very successfull workshop, and she will be back with us in 2024.
More details on venue and date soon.
It’s a long time since TPW has run a workshop in India. We are considering to go back next year in March, for the Holi festivities. I am checking different possibilities and will let you know soon.
We will probably skip August: too crowded, too hot, too complicated to travel….
We are preparing a solid programme from now to August, and for the following months.

Following an idea by Caterina Monzani, who’s been connected to TPW for many years, we are preparing a series of short video about the photographers who have taught and will be teaching at will be teaching at TPW in 2023. siamo tornati la settimana scorsa dalla Grecia, dove abbiamo tenuto l’ultimo workshop della stagione. Fantastico, ci è piaciuto tutto! L’area in cui eravamo, Syvota, nella costa Ionica, ricorda l’Italia di tanti anni fa…colori fantastici, vita semplice sulla spiaggia, mare blu e gente amichevole…
Torneremo sicuramente!
Qui di seguito un’anticipazione:
Inizieremo l’anno con il nostro workshop tradizionale a Venezia, con Giacomo Brunelli. E’ il momento perfetto pe visitare Venezia, ancora avvolta nell’atmosfera invernale. Il Carnevale è finito e i turisti sono ridotti a pochi veri intenditori…avremo la città tutta (o quasi!) per noi.

A seguire, un altro classico, il workshop con Ander Petersen, una ricorrenza annuale che ci ha portato a esplorare diverse città italiane. Sarà, come sempre, un workshop di scoperte e sorprese…Il corso è limitato a dieci studenti: se siete interessati, affrettatevi perché la classe tende a riempirsi in fretta!
Avevamo pianificato un workshop con Martin Bogren a Ottobre a Palermo, ma abbiamo deciso di spostarlo al 2024. Martin in questi giorni è in oriente, tornerà la settimana prossimo e pianificheremo le date.
Lo stesso per Gabrielle Duplantier, una piacevolissima nuova aggiunta al programma nel 2023, e che tornerà con il suo workshop nel 2024.
E’ da anni che TPW non conduce un workshop in India. Stiamo considerando di tornare nel 2024, alla fine di Marzo per le festività di Holi. Stiamo lavorando su un programma specifico, dedicato soprattutto a chi non è mai stato in India e vuole andare con una compagnia “fotografica”. Stiamo lavorando con un’agenzia locale per organizzare qualcosa di speciale, in stile TPW !
