Throughout the years, followers of TPW have had the chance of being updated on our plans and activities in many different ways: at the beginning, we used to print our beautiful and colourful catalogue every Spring: we worked on it in the winter months, in order to deliver it to you home by march. But between the editing, printing and shipping times, you ended up finding in your hands something sometimes already obsolete.
Then the web arrived, we created our own website and through that and our newsletter and blog, we offered a faster way to deliver our messages. Now, Facebook and Instagram, make this process even faster.

In the process, probably we missed the more important way of communication: the voice! That’s why we came up with this idea of giving a voice – and a face! – to the teachers at TPW.

Caterina Monzani, connected with TPW since 2004, is now an active filmmaker. She came up with idea of creating a series of shorts portraits of our teachers.

Something very simple, direct, where you see them at work and talk about their photography and their workshop.
