Join us back in Greece next October for a truly unique photographic experience with renowned photographer Vassilis Pitoulis. This will be our fourth creative workshop in Greece; at this time, we have two/three  exciting new destinations in mind:  most likely choice will be Crete, an island boasting extraordinary light and perfect temperatures in October. As the southernmost island in Europe, it’s easily accessible, with two international airports.

Once there, a world of possibilities will open up before us: from pristine beaches to inland valleys, mysterious woods to ancient towns, and breathtaking canyons. We will be shooting in diverse and evocative locations, capturing the vibrant soul of the island through our lenses, with a special focus on our models.

Vassilis’ workshops are a truly special occasion. We dedicate ample time to shooting with our models, but that’s not all. Continuous feedback on your work through group critiques and individual meetings are fundamental pillars.

Throughout the week, we will delve into a wide range of topics concerning shooting with models: from publishing your work to exhibiting it in galleries, and from fashion to fine-art photography. We will talk about models, shooting fashion/nude, stock photography, working with agents.

Each participant will have the freedom to shoot models at their favourite spots. October is an ideal time in Greece: the weather is still mild, the light is incredible, and most tourists have departed.

We will keep you updated on the exact venue as soon as possible. Our goal is to accommodate everyone in a single location, or a main house with small studios nearby, to foster an even more cohesive and collaborative atmosphere. More details will follow in the coming weeks.

This will be an authentic, immersive workshop: a perfect blend of shooting, critique, time together, and deep discovery of the Greek land and way of life. It will be a comprehensive and engaging immersion in people, culture, and landscape, all under Vassilis’ expert guidance.

During this workshop, we will embark on shooting excursions to hidden beaches (all the tourists will be long gone by then) and unspoiled natural locations to photograph our models, as well as small villages in the inland.

COSTS

Workshop fee + model fee (for 4 days)        € 2800

Lodging & Meals – to be announced  – plan €120/€150 per night per 6 nights

Payments: at the moment of the registration, you have to send a deposit of € 1200 to us, refundable in case you cancel 40 days before the beginning of the workshop.

We are reserving rooms at the hotel. You can pay the deposit directly to them.

Meals some at the house, some on location.

** Transfer from and to the airport can be arranged with our drivers. In case we need to rent an extra car, we will split the cost.

BIOGRAPHY

Vassilis Pitoulis is a Greek photographer born and raised in Bologna (Italy).

He started experimenting with fashion photography as a young man living in Paris in the 80s. Due to family obligations he did not devote himself fully to fine art until much later.

It was after a life threatening health issue event when he decided to leave everything behind and devote himself fully to the art of fashion/nude photography.

His works are primarily in black and white, as he loves to play with light of the shadows of expression. Women are the main source of his inspiration. His models are elegant, beautiful, yet fearless, and bold; there is nothing they can’t do! They are free to express their femininity, as they wish, without limits, and will often be amused to participate with the photographer in a more ironic and playful interpretation of reality.

We can see Vassilis Pitoulis work constantly making magazine covers, and being very present on the social media, gaining thousands of followers and attention on a daily basis. His ambition drives him across the world on the never-ending quest to render his ideas and inspirations.
