For many of you, TPW brings to your mind Tuscany countryside, yellow fields, heath, long summer nights under the starts…
But TPW, throughout the years, has launched many other workshops in Italy and around the globe.
These where mainly workshops focused on a particular author or on a specific event.
TPW started organizing workshop in Sicily during Easter Procession back in 2000, with Paolo Pellegrin Alex Majoli, Amy Arbus…then we continued photographing Sicilian Street-Life, with Bob Sacha and David Alan Harvey
Some suffer from mal d’afrique (Africa Blues), other from saudade…we have Sicily in our heart!
So we decided to go back, and organize some workshops there next spring.
Many of our workshops participants are curious about a new location and longing for new visual challenges; some have never been to Sicily before…all are fascinated by the Sicilian life-style.
We will skip Easter Processions (nowadays, there are more photographers than pilgrims!) and move further on, in May, when days are longer warmer, and the madding crowds have not arrived yet.
We will be based in Siracusa .
The main goal of these workshops is to get to know better Sicily and appreciate its extraordinary way of life. Art, landscape, people food….all these aspects will be deeply explored!
